I tested the igniter and found it still works, means the filament is still attached to the leg but obviously the added tension on the filament from the bent leg must be affecting it's longevity. I found the igniter still in the bag but with one leg that holds the filament in place actually bent inward possibly from pressure from something else probably put on top of my package. Mine one came in a large plastic bag the item simply thrown in with no padding, no protection and the first impression was like 'someone sent me an empty plastic bag!' However, the bag had two quarter inch holes in it to allow air escape and "LUCKILY" my expensive little thing did not fall out of one of the holes on the way which was very likely to happen. And hence it should've been packaged better to avoid damage in shipping. Good product but the price for this seems too high for this little thing.
